This is very beautiful, Ron! Before enlargement the fish really looks like a butterfly! Wonderful colors! #87722Colette M. Metcalf January 14, 2004

Thank you Evy, Colette, Carolyn, and Cathy! Another very poorly lit subject. I guess they weren't thinking about photographers when they built these displays! #330978Carol Brill January 14, 2004
You did a nice job of capturing those bright colors so clearly, Ron, and your title really made me look closely to see those tiny fish lips, a very cool detail that I would have missed!! #331050Ron Goldman January 15, 2004

Thank you LaVella. Well, the most important thing would be the lighting. Any glare from backlighting would cause a problem. Clean glass really helps also, but most of the time, you can't clean it before the opportunity is gone! Also, try to shoot completely perpendicular to the window. Angles cause glare. Hope this helps! If I can catch the 16 point buck that has been hanging around, I will post his mug shot. LOL #342822

Great! Let me know if they turn out better for you this time. I really hate shooting through glass, but sometimes you just don't have a choice! I would love to see that 16 point buck! #342858Jean Papo February 06, 2004
Beauiful shot, Ron! Glorious colors! #365015Ron Goldman February 06, 2004
