I REALLY like this: the frame-filling composition, colours, lack of distractions. #3237189

Willard thank you, I can not wait to go get this one blown up to an 8x10
This was 1 of 6 how is that? Do you think this is worth the $2.00 at walmart to make into an 8x10…. ?

More to the point, can a $2 print do justice to your image? #3241275

Tami Rook August 29, 2006

Now that is the big picture LOL....
I have double checked with my local Walmart and they change thier tanks Wendsday morning. All new cemicals, clean tanks, new paper roles, LOL and since we no longer have to pay to develop those 25 pictures that did not turn out, well I think I am still coming out $$ ahead... hahaha I can be so funny. #3241317

Thank you very much Renaee,
David I put this to paper last night, I stepped up and used a real photo shop... LOL it was 3x as much and not any better then I get at walmart??

Where I live there are no Walmarts, Tami. I wasn't having a go at them or at any printer: I was just trying to suggest, in my ham fisted way, that this is a very nice piece of work, whatever the printing price. You could make an excellent print at home for $1 or go to a pro shop and pay $15 or put it on canvas for $90....but would any of the results do justice to the print? Maybe..... #3246267

1/6 not bad, better than me :)For a print size I'd go maybe 16X20 matte it and light it. WOW #3246728

David not dish taken, I thought there might be a bit better at the pro shop, the guy talking to me was sure of it hahaha and nope…… my little dish at those guys, Some times I go in to get something printed and they start telling me this is this and this is that and when it comes down to it … I say very little and then they look at the prints well this one shut him up lol. I am quite modest about my photo’s I am just not sure that I am that good but I am working at getting better.

Willard do you really think it is that good? Wow lighted that would be very cool. I just am not sure that I am ready to display my work yet….. lol even at home, our house is almost grand central station.

You guys are making me feel all warm inside Thank you very much.

Not ready to display your work? Well you've been showing it to the world on BP for months! And you wouldn't be ashamed of those wolves, or the happy hippo hanging on your wall, would you? Or that great underwater seal, the bear in the grass, or the balloons, the hovering gull, or... well, you get the drift! #3247882

Oh… wow David I just do not think about it that way…. I am blushing now like a school girl. LOL I always say every thing is a matter of perspective and boy did you just put things into perspective for me…. I was putting photo’s here hopping to improve my ability in photography, to get some helpful input….. Thank you all again for all your nice words. I did go and look at your gallery David, wow, you have a lot of nice shots, you must travel a lot? #3249326
