Hi Bea.

Honey is a absolute doll... when you commmented on our photo last week, I checked out your gallery, and my wife put your gallery in her favorite list.

I particularly like this image as it seems to capture Honey's concentration. The lighting is great, and nice depth of field (background is out of focus). Can you comment on the camera settings you used in for this photo?

On the subject of Greyhounds:

We always love to see greys with their ears up like that -- my grey (Tsarina) is almost the exact same coloring - 7 year old retired -- rescued 3 years ago by Colorado Greyhound Association (CGA Colorado) -- we just love her and the breed.

After living with our golden (Aslyn) also in this photo, Tsarina now chases and catches tennis balls, and frisbees. She also loves the snow (go figure).
Aslyn was 1 year old when we brought home Tsarina. They are inseparable.

I don't have very many of our dogs on my website yet, but you can view her with my wife and Aslyn at: http://www.grapek.com/grapek_photos/details.php?gid=127&sgid=&pid=778

By the way, how do you like your D50?

Cheers, Howie. #3114194

Thank you Howie. That's high praise indeed, to be put in favourites. Honey was watching Nero, wondering if he was onto something interesting. It's a typical total Greyhound intense concentration look. #3116071

Bea,
This shot of Honey is beautiful! My parents just lost another of their now 4 rescue hounds to cancer. I had a picture of her, Cleo, with my son cuddling that I gave them. I would have loved to capture this look though.

I think another trip to visit with my camera is due... ;) #3417563

Thank you Vickie. They are such a beautiful breed of dog, in looks and in nature. So hard to lose a much loved dog. #3417579
