My crazy doggie enjoying life. I'm having a heck of a time trying to get sharp images of fast action so any suggestions would be great! #474649

This image seems sharp, But to offer a few tips.. Use single point focus to be sure that the camera only focuses on the dog and not on anything else nearby. You can also try to pre-focus on an are the dog will be going into, You can also try to perfect your panning technique. #2972387

Thanks Alisha, Rachel, Mike & Carol.

Mike...I used the single point focus for this shot and it was the pick of the bunch so I think it really helped. I took my first panning shot the other day of my other dog which I will post tomorrow, I'd love to get your suggestions on that also. #2979113

You did a great job on this one! So cute. He looks like he's running 60 miles an hour. I know just what you mean. I try so hard to get good photos (in focus) of my little wildthing (a knew kitten.) I finally got one, if you care to take a look at my gallery. The "eyes" one is my older cat, the BW my kitty. I've found that a single focal point and prefocus is the only way to get my kitten and still I make 40-50 photos and might get one if I'm lucky! #3010214
