Description

This is the latin name for this plant that sticks to your clothes or your hair like Velcro. I believe it is commonly called a 'burr' in English', in French, we call it either a 'toque' or a 'pique-pique'.

This plant grows abundantly in fields everywhere in Southern Québec.

I shot this one along the bike path behind my house.

f5 1/800, centre-spot metering, Nikkor-Micro 60mm.
