I love the photo. My only suggestion is that you might want to consider cloning away the part of the branch above the sun, and some of the part that is covering the sun.

Thanks for responding. I may try that (although i'm not that great in using photoshop) but may I ask why? #2776701

The very top of the branch is cut off, and the sun looks a little divided, since the branch goes all the way through it. It still looks very good without any retouching in Photoshop. #2778273

I love the shot. I agree with the kitching the branch and coloning out some of it. I souldn't clone the whole thing out of the sun area though. I like the little bud part in.

Next time I'd use a higher f stop so you don't lose the sharpness of the branch. It seems like the bottom part of the branch goes "soft" a tad #2778403

Thanks, both of you! So, when shooting a big sun it's more pleasant to leave it whole? #2781751

Usually if there's a "big sun" there's enough room to either side of it to still allow your subject to get silhouetted and included in the image #2782215

Personally I like the branch extension, for me it adds an extra element of interest, however cloning it out would work to. Nice composition! #2948594

Like the simplicity. Striking #2952982

I love this shot. I wouldn't change anything. I actually like the fact that the sun is divided by the branch. Simple and different.
