My son was letting me photograph him today! I only got a couple but I will take any that I can get! :) Indoor, studio lighting, f22, 1/160sec, ISO-200.

hahaha, hey sometimes I can only get a few of my family, too! I know how you feel. My crit for this image is the lighting. Looking at the overall look and the catch lights, I can tell one of the lamps was pretty close to the camera, and one was at about a 45 to him or more. that side lamp is good- that should be your main. it looks like the more "front" lamp is the main and not the fill. I know im getting pretty technical, but thats one of the main components of studio lighting! the more light that comes from a direction parallel to the camera lens, the more "shapshot" and amateur it tends to look (similar look with an on-camera flash). #438837Nicole E.
