This is The American War Cemetary at Madingley Nr. Cambridge UK in August 2005. At over 30 acres the site holds over 3800 Americans. Bill - Such a touching image. What a beautiful spot for our soldiers that did not come home. My dad and uncles fought in WWII. The colors and leading lines of the stones are wonderful and the dark sky adds to the moodiness of this image.
