The image was taken half an hour to an hour before sunset at Crabtree Lake, Cary, NC. Shot taken with Canon 28-135 IS on Fuji Reala. Cropped and levels adjusted in PS to match the straight print.

Thanks Lori! I am just glad I could take this pictures while it last. I saw almost what you noted. Simple and powerful. The symbol of the boat (one of them) which is to pass-over is complemented exemplarily by the women hanging the child, the next generation. I think the colors fit too. The image seem to me both nostalgic and full of life and hope. They didn't pose. #217943

For some reasons the previous post came from my wife's account. I couldn't find the "Log Out" button so I had to close the browser to log in as a different user. Is there any Log off option here?
