Thanks so much Jim and Kate.It was a good moon rising two nights back.Kate when you were down here did you ever hear the racket that a group of a couple of hundred of these Cockatoos make when they decide to fly elsewhere? I must take a tape recorder out with me.The noise is unbelievable.The bird book calls it "loud raucous screech"! And here they look so peaceful eating their early supper. #2537065

Thanks Dennis,so both you and Kate know our Cockatoos.They realy are an eccentric bird.Even in the city I would say we get flocks of a couple hundred but out of the city flocks can reach over a thousand,which you folk may have seen.But that racket when they all take off is certainly something you never forget! So you lived in Exmouth Dennis,I have not taken a northern trip from Perth for over 20 years.Must go through those towns again north of us,hopefully very soon. #2565731
