I love the wheel in the foreground and the stucko backdrop. Very nicely posed. #293491Brenda Tharp August 16, 2005
Thanks, but you know, if you get the right people, you don't even need to pose them! This was on an old movie set, and we had hired a few local cowboys so my class could learn how to photograph people in a scene. This guy was a natural! #1725866Kerry Drager August 22, 2005
Hi Brenda,Brenda Tharp August 26, 2005
Thanks, Kerry - yes, it was an honor to see that Michael listed me as an influence to his work, especially since I was in between Galen Rowell and Ansel Adams! You just never know who you might touch when you share your photography with the world, that's my feeling. If my photographs are having that kind of impact, I'm touched by it, too! #1770587Karen E. Brenda, I just came upon this. You made more than a portrait, you gave us a story through your eyes without a title. That requires us to think, and that is the whole idea of art. Peace, karen #1852073Brenda Tharp September 19, 2005
Thank you, Karen for those nice words! #1857846Sharrie Thomas April 07, 2006
Wonderful portrait. You have awesome work. You have an eye for a good photo, I guess that's why you're an instructor, and I'm not. Great work. #2620581Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
