I love the wheel in the foreground and the stucko backdrop. Very nicely posed. #293491

Thanks, but you know, if you get the right people, you don't even need to pose them! This was on an old movie set, and we had hired a few local cowboys so my class could learn how to photograph people in a scene. This guy was a natural! #1725866

Hi Brenda,
I agree with Wayne: Such an awesome image! Say, I just checked out the August 2005 issue of Popular Photography magazine and saw that one of the Photographer of the Year finalists (Michael Soo) listed you as a major influence in his work ... wow, that's terrific! How gratifying for you!!

Thanks, Kerry - yes, it was an honor to see that Michael listed me as an influence to his work, especially since I was in between Galen Rowell and Ansel Adams! You just never know who you might touch when you share your photography with the world, that's my feeling. If my photographs are having that kind of impact, I'm touched by it, too! #1770587

Brenda, I just came upon this. You made more than a portrait, you gave us a story through your eyes without a title. That requires us to think, and that is the whole idea of art. Peace, karen #1852073

Thank you, Karen for those nice words! #1857846

Wonderful portrait. You have awesome work. You have an eye for a good photo, I guess that's why you're an instructor, and I'm not. Great work. #2620581
