Thanks for your comments. To get the B&W&G effect I just converted the image to black and white, then using photoshop I selected all the grass, then I went into colour balance (under "image, adjust")and turned the grass green.

Hello, Shawn, thanks so much for the response. I guess this may seem to close to a tutoring relationship for me to ask, but one teeny last question, if you don't mind....how (what tool do you use) do you select something like grass that is so uneven? #178008

No problem. I usually use the lasso tool but because the lines of the grass were semi straight, I used the polygonal lasso tool. Also, you can select multiple selections by selecting one section of your picture then holding down the shift key select another area to add to your selection. If you hold down the alt key you can subtract from the selection as well.
