Off to School

Taken few years back in Srinagar.
Early morning scene on Dal Lake - life spurts into action as the people living on the outskirts and mostly on the sides of the Canal find the water transport as the most convenient option to reach the main town of Srinagar. This basic country boat caught my attention where the Mom ( most likely ) is seen taking her daughter to school. I saw her dropping the girl at the dock and going back. Soon, many other such boats carrying students and people on their way to work and even boats acting as shops swarmed the lake.
