Moonrise At The Magical Oasis
Uploaded: January 16, 2018 | Entered: January 16, 2018 11:54:42
It is midnight at a magical oasis that only appears during the full moon. These nomads have been riding most of the evening and are looking for some rest and food for the night. The castle is partially hidden by low clouds but the full moon is rising and soon the whole castle will be visible for several miles. As they stare at the castle in awe, a Unicorn comes forward to greet them. If these travelers stay at the castle beyond the time of the full moon, they will disappear until the next full moon, so they must eat and get their rest and return to the desert to complete their journey.
This is an image comprised of composites and textures. I also processed the image in Nik Silver Efex Pro, Topaz Impression and used the Flood Filter for the water and reflection.
Textures by Jai Johnson
Camels, unicorn and castle from Pixaby Images
The image of the full moon was taken in my back yard in Southern Oregon and added as a composite image.
