Flying Against The Wind

Description

I started with a background of Aspen trees that I took at Willow Lake in Southern Oregon. My husband and I went there on an Autumn Drive but the camp ground was closed so we could only go up to the gate. We got out to view the lake and it was surrounded by Autumn colored trees, including these Aspens. I added a motion blur to the trees to make it look like they were moving in the wind. I added the heron as a composite image. I then processed the image in Nik color Efex Pro and Topaz Impression. Impression created more of a wind blown look.
I then added some clouds to the sky and some bare trees, flying birds and falling red and orange leaves.
