Unarmed passengers & crew members attempted bravely to overwhelm the terrorists. All on board were killed as Flight 93 crashed into an empty field near Shanksville, PA. Their attempt prevented a terrorist strike presumed to be Washington, DC., likely the U.S. Capitol Building.
