HI Larry! THank you so much for your positive response on this! As my husband and I were returning home from grabbing a bite of dessert to eat (OK...so I had a whole piece of apple pie with ice cream!), I kept thinking how much I liked the neon red needle against the black background of the tachometer and speedometer everytime I looked down at it. (Yes, I do watch my speed) I appreciate our kindly post, Larry!Thank you so much, Damian!! I appreciate your time!
Hi Colette! Actually, I was revving the engine to get the tachometer to register 2000rpms. I was sitting right there listening to the radio waiting for my shutter to close!! Fooled ya! Thank you so much, Colette! #148357

Marvellous shot, Dolores! #148401Robert Mann July 22, 2003
Excellent composition and love the colors and shot with amazing clarity and detail. I am fairly certain you do not have a Rolls Royce, so I was pretty sure you were not driving, but you're so inventive you very well might have been!LOL! Superb! RoB #148445Gabriela Cunha July 23, 2003

THanks so very much!! I am so honored to receive your complimentary posts!THank you Evy!! I am thrilled you like this! I appreciate your time!
HI RoB!! You're too kind, my man! THank you for your high praise of this image. I got the idea when I saw an image of a timed exposure of the second hand of a clock. I liked the neon red of my tachometer needle in darkness and felt I could improve on this idea! I'm thrilled you like it!
Thank you, Gaby..I'm delighted you find it humorous!!
Mette...thank you once more for initiating another complimentary post. Immensely appreciated as always!!
HI Kathleen!! Big thanks and hugs to you for your approval!!
Hi Claudia! I'm appreciative that you praise my creativity though I've seen several images of timed exposures of a clock's second hand and that's where the idea to do a timed exposure with a tachometer needle originated. So it's not all my idea! I thank you for posting your precious post! THanks for the congrats at BEstfoto!
J'espère, Dominique!! Pour gagner, il est plus difficile et plus dur! Merci pour votre confiance en cette photo!!
J'apprécie votre message, Dominique!

Really well done Dolores. I done this one time and came no where close to this. #149048Dolores Neilson July 24, 2003
Thank you so much, Darren! I would have preferred the speedometer but that would have been impossible! I'm just so happy that it's in focus as I couldnt' have gotten any closer or further with that camera sitting on the steering wheel! I appreciate your friendly and thoughtful post once more, Darren! #149121Oksana Oksamit July 25, 2003
What a shot, Dolores!!!!!!!!!! #150314Dolores Neilson July 25, 2003

There you go again, converting the ordinary into the extraordinary! I glad it was the tach you were shooting. I'd have been concerned if it was the speedometer ;-) #151433Dolores Neilson July 27, 2003
