Description

This series is of historic residences (or their ruins) in the Hudson Valley / Catskills -- i.e., no churches, factories, etc., only buildings that people either called their homes or vacationed in. I've selected five sites and uploaded two contrasting pictures of each. Postprocessing was fairly minimal for the sake of stylistic consistency. I think my next step would be to refine this series according to how I think they should ideally be processed (I have LOTS of images of each of these) and thereby develop new subseries. The first two are the ruins of Arryl House at Clermont (border of Dutchess and Columbia Counties), which was originally one of the estates belonging to the Livingston family.
