Thanks phellos! I like it too but I wanted to have it onced over by some other discriminating eyes....these moments are one of my favorite parts about shooting weddings. The wedding coordinator called me to the bridal party room just before they were introduced to the guests to get some shots of this little cutie with the bride. When I slipped out the back door thankfully I noticed that she had followed me and was peeking through the door. I started firing away without any chance to make and setting adjustments and as you can see by the other shots, I got lucky with this pose that she struck..

How can anyone not find themselves smiling back at this image and that delightful expression on her face! Beautifully rendered Tony and thank you for providing the back-story that sets the whole scene for us.
As an additional thought, it struck me that one of the reasons that this composition and subject works so very well is that the diagonally sloping vertical muntin on the window helps emphasise how she is leaning to get a better look at the strange guy pointing his camera at her. I repeat, absolutely delightful. #11024324

Wonderful Tony! Great soft color which makes the shot so elegant. You picked the best one by far and thanks for showing the others. I do kind of like #2 as a totally different expression.

As I say, I am directionally challenged and will defer to others on this, but would it be any better to straighten the shot up a bit making the lines of the door parallel to the edge of the shot or would it be too static like that?

Mike you know how anal I am about straight lines and horizons etc, but in this case the girl is so mesmerizing that the lines are never seen. If, I repeat, if, they are straightened, I would only do the one on the right side and let the others fall where they may. #11024649
