This is an interesting photo Jeff and one that I suspect is a composite. With a 60 sec exposure that reveals that much ambient light, it should have revealed you making the orb. #1547119Jeff E Jensen October 05, 2013
Hate to burst your bubble, Dale, but this not a composite. Here's the image, straight out of camera. . . . #10863004

So with that much light why is there no indication of you or your shadow? #10863031Jeff E Jensen October 05, 2013
Because I didn't stop moving, so the ambient light washes any of it out.I am flattered that you think my photoshop skills are that good :o) #10863052

My congrats on a job well done old friend. #10863136Michael Kelly October 05, 2013
Very nice Jeff! I love the star bursts especially the one at the top of the Empire State Building and the bit of cloud lit by the city lights. Did you have help or just do this on your own utilizing a tripod? #10863162Jeff E Jensen October 05, 2013
Thanks, Dale and Mike!Mike - I was with one of my reps. He guarded the cameras while I did the painting. #10863376

this is very cool Jeff, how did you get away with doing this in the city. yes I would have thought you would need someone to watch your camera while you were doing it. great shot love all the sun burst through out the image. #10863800Elaine Hessler October 06, 2013
Very nice Jeff! Now it really would have been impressive had you gotten away with using steel wool!!! Probably wouldn't have gone over well, though...#10863955

It was no big deal to do this in the city. The biggest challenge was keeping people from running into my orb. I about smacked a couple of drunk guys.Elaine - we just about talked ourselves into picking up some steel wool. We'll be back there in two weeks, who knows what will happen! #10863961
