I'm a beginner, I would comment based on my how I see your pic.

I like the composition ( as they always says)..but honestly it's great..hmmm, what about making them closer so that I could see them more in details and I think the shot is a bit out of focus.

For me constructive criticisms from other artist is good but at the end of the day YOU still the one who could interpret your photos better than we do..because we have different perceptions of things. Well, let's just keep shooting. #2010521

I would say that this is a good idea, Lani, but the corn is a bit out of focus. I would suggest sharpening it a bit...also if I were composing this I might take it at an angle too. Or go closer in for more detail. I like the color as it is though...great idea! ; )

I'm just a begginer, but I would say that it's out of focus and I would have put the darker chestnut a little bit upper in the composition. I think I would pay more attention to the verticalness,too. This is just my personal opinion...
