SS 1/2500 Auto WB Hand Held.
Spent some QUALITY TIME watching several Wood Storks flying from Nest Site to near by trees . All were very intent on breaking off just the right piece of branch to add to the construction of their nest's. Was great to see they were nesting in the trees on 2 small islands of the rear area at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in DelRay Florida. First time doing so in such numbers . Approximately a dozen nests. where previously Gr.B.Herons had nested.

Hi Jack - this is a great comppsition with a good storyline.

I so enjoyed the birds in Florida especially the Herons as they are elusive with us and go to the northern part of Ontario to the great forests.

You've filled in another gap in my knowledge of wildlife, Jack ~ never heard of a wood stork before. He seems to have a strong but delicate grasp of the branch, much like the baby-delivery cartoons.
