Hi Teresa, Nice name you have. lol Great flower too. I've never seen anything like it. Very soft and pretty. Where do those flowers grow? #1995511

Thank you, I appreciate you viewing my photo, Desiree.

CPP is short for the photo editing software program that I used on this photo, Corel Photo Paint. I have Corel Photo Paint 10. It's a little older now, I think they went up to 12, and now the newest version is Corel Paint Shop Pro X. I have several editing programs that I might use on an image, depending on what I need. The other programs I might use are, Adobe Photo Shop 5.5, Photo Explosion SE, IrfanView, XnView, and Neat Image. I might use Explosion for card and frame templates. The last three are free-ware. Neat Image is for filtering noise, moire, and sharpening an image. Irfan and Xn are good to do quick basics and editing several images at once. For instance, if I needed to rotate and then resize several images in a folder, I would only need to send out one command to accomplish the job instead of doing them individually. Free or expensive, most programs do have a free trial version you can download to see if you like it. Thank you again and thanks for asking,

Best Wishes,

Thank you Darryl and Kerby. This is the first time that I planted it in my garden so I had to do a little research. A member of the Clarkia family and a native of the West Coast, Godetia likes full sun, but is a cool -weather loving annual. I planted the seeds rather late, I could hardly wait for them to bloom! It was worth the wait! Now, I'm waiting for the pink version to bloom.

Thank You Again and Best Wishes,

Thank you for sharing Theresa (saving this page to my favorites). Your editing of this already fabulous image has me wanting to learn to use these softwares now! LOL, yet I still have a bit more learning to do first in PS7 in which I used the book w CD and have only touched the basics. Aloha no, Desiree. #1996123

Well done Teresa, I'm impressed by your dedication, to research and not back down. Great work.

Hi Desiree, Darryl, and Stephanie!

Thank you and you are very welcome.
Stephanie, how do you think I got this info? Yes, it was from some Betterphoto comment somewhere down the line. I really didn't have to do too much editing for this photo. The best way to learn is just by doing what you are doing. And, Desiree and Darryl, I want to add, both of you, are doing very well already. Your galleries are great! After a year or so, go back and look at the photos that you first submitted. You will be amazed at how far you have come. And then, you realise, that it's just a drop in the bucket of photography knowledge. Although I still feel like I am just a beginner, it's nice to be at the point where I can share and help others. Remember! You are ALWAYS your own worst critic! Oh and Wilki, nice name, lol. (I wondered what you meant, cause it only shows Darryl W.) : )

Thanks Again and Happy Shooting!
