GOOD TIMES ROLL

Uploaded: January 31, 2013

Description

Taken at a car show last Sunday .
So how many of you had these cruising your neighborhood when you were a kid. Had to love the Good Humor Truck and it's Wonderful Cargo. In Brooklyn we even had a driver who extend you credit on your word to repay him the next day. Not a single kid that I knew of ever forgot to repay him on time. ""THOSE WERE THE DAYS""

Thanks for the kind thoughts & I'm already bored out of what mind I have left ;O)

Now that's a blast from the past! I lived on a farm, though, so those trucks never came our way. Ironically, now there's one on our street in the summer (but from Schwan's, not Good Humor). Hang in there! #10547448

Good humor ice cream never made it to Australia Jack, but the old F100 did! They were very popular for converting into ambulances and police paddy wagons! #10547869

Great capture Jack, I posted one during the summer that I also had taken at a car show. Definitely brings back a lot of memories as I use to stop and get one everyday on the way home from school, I still remember his name was Frank and he also would extend you credit. #10548399
