Description

I was very surprised to see grain growing next to the beach on the Eastern shore of New Zealand's North Island.

I closed down the shutter for DOF and increased my shutter speed to darken the shot to give it a high contrast. A bit of dodging and burning in PSE completed the image.

Shutter Speed: 1/1600.00 F-stop: f/22.0
Focal Length: 16.00

Exif: F Number: 22, Exposure Bias Value: -1.30, ExposureTime: 1/1600 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 16.00 mm, Model: SLT-A77V
