From our recent DC trip :) These flowers were in the gardens at Arlington Cemetery and had just been watered - love the waterdrops!Stephen Shoff August 22, 2012

Deb this is beautiful! I love the dreamy quality of this shot. I do wish there was a bit more DOF in the petals of the flower . . . but other than that I love this one :) #10286271Jeff E Jensen August 22, 2012
Excellent! #10286272Jeff E Jensen August 23, 2012
The water drop could be an image all by itself. #10286671Dale Hardin August 23, 2012
Have a shot of you taking this. This is lovely with that super sharp water drop. Excellent Deb. #10287053Debbra Bailey August 23, 2012
Thanks guys :) Jeff, I cropped it down, but I am not sure the water drop has the sharpness to stand on its own... thoughts? #10287065Dale Hardin August 23, 2012
The original has a stronger impact because this drop is like a gem found withing a jewelry box.And you're right Deb, the sharpness took a hit with the severe crop. #10287070

Great find and it makes a beautiful and interesting shot. I love these type of water drop lens shots. I do wish for just a bit more DOF so that the petals at the flower top were a bit sharper, but it still stands well as is. #10287233Jeff E Jensen August 23, 2012
Yup, not so much. Thanks for trying! #10287384Peter W. Marks August 24, 2012
What an interestingly different flower image Deb and that reflection adds to that. Does anyone know what species this is? #10288176Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
