Description

On my morning walk to Wangi Wangi a few days ago I came across these two Kookaburra's as they took up their position on the power pole cross member. They started to give their very raucous call, but by the time I got around to take the photo, they had stopped. Only having Carolyn's XZ-1 compact camera with me I just had to manage with it's small zoom to try and pull them in. I have heavily cropped the image to try and present the birds better.

Hi Phil! :)

Hey! That's not a GUM TREE!!! What gives? (HeeHee) Well, I bet they are still Merry Merry Kings of the Bush!? :D

We don't have any birds like Kookaburra's here and it's always such a treat for we Westerners to see such interesting things!

Cheers to you there and thank you for your recent visits to my gallery. It's great to see you and the Mrs. around again! :))))

Have a great day from Canada to you!
