Not bad in B&W but I perfer the color version. Have you tried to increase thesharpness in camera raw to bring out more detail in the clouds? #1475811

I think this definitely has possibilities, Howard, and like the moodiness, but I think it needs some more dodging and burning to bring out detail in the mountains and clouds to make it exceptional. I would love to have a chance to work on this in Silver Efex Pro 2. #10237530

Howard....If you do not own Nik Silver Efex Pro 2, I strongly recommend that you download the 15 day free trial and play around with it using this image. If you do download it make sure you take a few of the free on line training sessions. I think you may like this softwere #10237616

I really appreciate the input and feedback. It is constructive conversations like this that I was hoping for when first joining BetterPhoto. Thank you both.

I will download the trial of Silver Efex Pro 2 and try to find some time to fumble a bit through the training. #10238163

You are welcome, Howard. I never know how much to say, as not everyone is open to suggestions.

I think you will like Silver Efex Pro 2, although 15 days isn't a lot of time to figure out how to use it. The advantage is that you can place what they call control points that allow you to adjust just specific areas in an image, based on tone and texture. It gives you a lot more control for localized adjustments. If you have any questions feel free to send me a BPmail. #10238317
