Wardville Courthouse

The first County Seat of Johnson County was build in 1855. It fell victim to arsen a few years ago. The roof, floor and doors had been badly damaged; of the furnishings only the judges desk suvived. The Historic Courthouse has been rebuilt, thanks to many individuals who donated materials, time and money. It is now located at Chisolm Trail Outdoor Museum in Cleburne, Tx.
