This sunset was amazing! It had such a 3D look to it! Enhanced that with a Vibrance filter.
It's been 10 years since photographer Galen Rowell was killed in a plane crash.
I had read one of his articles in Outdoor Photographer about looking "beyond the sunset"....to be aware of the other colors that may be surrounding you.
I've never forgotten it. And as I'm shooting the heavens, I hope he's up there knowing his inspiration lives on. He (along with his wife) left this world much too soon.
And on a side note: I don't know about you, but in those clouds I see a hummingbird being followed by a duck. ;)
