Pension Building [Washington DC Pictures]
Uploaded: July 03, 2012 03:54:59
I got to revisit some of my favorite places with Renee & Linda; this is one of the most unexpected spaces in DC, I think. It was originally built
to hold the Pension Bureau more than a century ago, and now operates as the National Building Museum, with exhibits focused on
architecture, city-planning, construction, etc. It is a shrine to the round arch; I count more than 200 arches in this scene!
