Thank you. Mumj told me to let all the good memories of my Dad help me heal. I know she is right so I will say this to you too. Keep them fresh in your heart.
It's takes months and even years Wm for the pain to ease. You will always miss her. It just is so unreal that we will never see them again.
BUT their LOVE and their LOVE for US always seems to stay alive and well in our hearts. That is the miracle for those of us left behind once they are gone. I lost my Mom when I was only 24 and I STILL feel her great love for me in my heart. I am so grateful for this.
I'm broken hearted that you didn't know your Dad. I'm so sorry for you. You deserved a great dad and tons of memories of one. I hope The Lord has blessed you in other ways to make up for it. Wonderful Uncles and Neighbor men growing up. :) ?

Wm, at around the exact same time my Daddy passed away I was in my home about 20 feet up off of the ground level and a butterfly came and danced at the window for me. He stayed and danced and danced. It was so very beautiful and I stood there in amazement. That has never happened here before...I felt it was a sign. :) Daddy was gone and out of pain now. And he was. The call came in right after that.
Ahhh...the good old ways of shooting sure sound good. I miss my old Minolta.
