Vinnie,

Glad you had a fun trip to the zoo.
Excellent capture of the crane with
great color, clarity, & details.
Thought you put your image too
far the right, leaving too much
empty space to the left.

Hi Lou, you know Lou, the way I was situated at the Zoo this Crane was very difficult to capture. I was far away and don't have a large zoom otherwise I could have gotten the Crane in a better position. #10135607

Great Vince!
I think that is a beautiful position, and a very nice composition for the photo. I like it very much!
Great work!

Vinnie,
I love this picture, I am just wandering what would happen if you changed it to BW. I know the colors are very important here, but what about the details that would be highlighted. Could you just try it so I can see how it turns out?

Thanks Sandi for the nice comments. I will post this in B&W so you can see. Just remember though. Most conversions to B&W look best with a lot of texture and high contrast differences between the lows and highs. #10147262

Okay, I can see that now. I have always wondered what made a photo a good subject to convert to BW. so thank you for helping me see that.
