Description

but effective. Simple idea and design but saving so many lives over the years. I liked the simplicity of this image and the lack of clutter it also brightens up a dull autumnal morning and gets me wishing the next few weeks ago. I go again at the end of October! This was taken at Punto do Prago on the island of Madeira.

There is something so beautiful about the simple design of lighthouses - perhaps its because no matter from which angle their viewed, their best 'face' is forward.
Love the wonderful primary colouring of this image, you can't go wrong with red, white and blue.....classic!
