Description

In less than a month there will be over 600,000 of these beautiful birds on the Platte River from Overton to Grand Island, NE...About 80 miles between the towns. I live 5 miles from the river.

f/8, 1/500, 200 ISO, 113mm, cropped in CS5.

Wonderful capture Kitty of a beautiful bird. Wow you are so fortunate to be close to where they migrate to. I want to see them in the wild. Maybe in retirement I'll be able to travel to this spot.
