Fabulous capture of this gorgeous elk, Michael. It's not an easy thing to get this close. #9781338Michael G. Marshall November 03, 2011
Thanks Karen for your positive feedback! I use a tripod mounted 200 - 500 mm Tamron lens. With a 1.5x factor when using it on a DX Nikon body (D200), I can make it "stretch" to 750 mm. I stay at a safe distance and can get the shot. Michael #9782254Thomas E. Hinds November 06, 2011

Thanks for you comment. You are blessed to live near the animals here to capture this elk. I was in Grand Canyon and it was very near but the weather was not kind to me.Michael G. Marshall November 21, 2011
