A Firm Hand . . . Lincoln

Description

Detail photo from the statue of Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. What an amazing building to visit. The sheer size is hard to describe. Standing at the top of the stairs (which are a very steep climb), you have an amazing view of the National Monument and if you close your eyes and recall the "I Have a Dream" speech it is all very overwhelming.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/60 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 640, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700

Great eye on your part. I found it immediately recognizable as part of a great statue. Well done, Carolyn. #1418385
