Just an everyday pigeon
Uploaded: August 10, 2011
I like to try to make images of things that we see everyday.... But I attempt to capture them in a way that we do not think of them.
This is a photo of a everyday pigeon.... but I have not seen many shots of pigeons that attempt to bring out their real beauty?
Believe it or not....they are tough to shoot in flight... I would guess that, that is the reason we never see in flight shots of them.
I do not know if I succeeded.....but here it is anyway.
Comments and suggestions welcome.
Cheers, joe

Pigeons probably have as many colors in their feathers as any bird so I, too, find them fascinating. The lighting here is marvelous and the sense of motion captured perfectly. #1400020Linda Blair August 10, 2011

Wonderful capture , Joe! Certaninly captured incredible beauty in the everyday for me. All birds in flight facinate me but I find them so hard to capture. Very inspiring shot. #9611636Cheryl Winn August 18, 2011
