The colors of this meadow and blue blue sky are beautiful...the fence post reigns it all in and shows the expansiveness of the meadow perfectly.
There was a favorite book of mine "How Green Was My Valley"...did you ever read that? Old book from long ago. #9585258

Patti: Thanks for the visit and kind words! I had never read the book, but the movie is considered, by some, to be one of the best films ever made. I saw it as a kid. It was made it Britain, I believe. Maybe Wales in the 30's or 40's. Wonderful movie. Now, I guess I have to read the book! LOL! I chose the title of this image because of that movie, changing the 'was' to 'is'. #9585717

Thanks, Patricia! Yes, those Georgia O'Keef clouds are amazing! Just spent time recently around Abiquiu, one of my favorite areas (and her onetime home)! Thanks again. This was taken northeast of Abiquiu on one of the most picturesque rides in NM, US Hwy 64, between Tierra Amarilla and Tres Piedras. #9711016
