'Lunch is ready'

Uploaded: March 23, 2011

Description

Female Pileated Woodpecker calling her mate to join her for lunch on our acreage in South West British Columbia, Canada, on March 19th, 2011. Pileated mate for life and this gal has been with her mate for 2 years now. They live here year-round and last year were excellent proud caring parents to 3 young. So hoping they will successfully breed again this year.
