Guitar curves

Uploaded: February 02, 2011

Description

I used this cropped version of a photo I made of this guitar that my husband built for his website. I like how the curves of the body flow through the image. Photo taken on black backdrop with available window light. Settings f8, 1/2 sec, ISO 100. RAW file processed in PSE; image rotated and cropped; added a small amount of snap in VP.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 4/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 50.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi

I love photographing guitars. You have done an excellent job of capturing the design elements, and the light is perfect. Nice work by your husband too! #9209351

Thank you both so much! Yes, Rob, guitars are one of my favorite subjects as well. Since my husband builds and repairs them, I get many opportunities so photograph cool guitars. Thanks for the comments! :) #9211143

My son would love your gallery, Angie. He's into guitars and everything that goes with them. Well done! #9237454
