Thank-you all for your kind comments on my photo.
I was very pleased to get this image.
It resulted from a case of being in the right place at the right time, a brief window of opportunity when this flock descended into a growth of Buckthorn at almost eye level and with good light. It lasted only about 10 minutes and then the clouds dulled the light and something spooked the birds into flying off. #9231249
