Snowflake Macro

Uploaded: January 07, 2011

Description

This is so very challenging. The flakes are so tiny that I had to do an extreme crop to fill the frame, even using a 100mm macro lens.

I realize that this is not tack sharp at this magnification but it is still interesting to look at so wanted to share it.

Exif: F Number: 2.8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 4/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 7D
