Red Dahlia

Uploaded: October 04, 2010

Description

Photo captured October 4, 2010. I planted this dahlia behind a clump of compact fountain grass that wound up being not all that compact. I was actually surprised to see that despite the shade I hadn;t counted on that the flower survived and had 4 good blooms on it. I found it yesterday while weeding. I had a couple more that didn't make it, but now I know next year to plant any tubers or bulbs in front of the grass. Have a great Tue and Happy shooting everyone.
