Description

I was at the Cemetery yesterday morning and nothing was happening,no Eagles. I went back this morning and there were Edith and Archie building a new nest high up in a live pine tree. Edith had Archie running back and forth gathering sticks and moss,he made about 10 trips while I was there resulting in a lot of flying shots!!.She was cutting the sticks to size with her beak and arranging them,I could hear the crunch from the ground!.I guess Archie was told it was going to be a Long,Cold winter without a nest so he has gotten busy Bigtime!. A new Season unfolds!. Captured at F/8,1/1250,Iso500,400mm.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 8/10000 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 500, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 400.00 mm, Model: NIKON D90

Wow this is so cool. So glad they are back and building. Looking forward to your reports. You should make a book out of your eagle photos and call it "Edith and Archie: A love story". The love story would be of course between this couple but also about your love for them and photographing them.
