Look To The Stars

Uploaded: August 03, 2005

Description

Due to the unforeseen sensitive nature of the photos. I will not be posting the poem that I have written. This series is a reflection of many of talks with my children. We live very close to Fort Logan National cemetery and we have seen a rise in deaths. My sons have taken notice and have asked many many questions that have broke my heart trying to explain. This series was brought about by our numerous discussions about real life heroes. It is not my intensions to deceive, (my husband is not in the military), or to validate war. But, to honor those that have paid the price for freedom.

I'm with everyone as well........I think it's a wonderful tribute to the men and women of the armed forces. No matter what you believe in or what opinion some hold......our thoughts and prayers should be for those who serve our country. And I'm heading to your website as well! #1673334

Everyone honors in their own way. It is important to explain to our kids why brave men and women are dying for this Great Country. It is just too bad the mainstream media only reports one side of the story.

Really wonderful image by the way. #1673839
