Description

Shot in an old pastry shop on Easter in Little Italy, NYC using available light . Canon Elan, 135 mm lense (my favorite!) and 3200 TMax b/w print film. He reminded me of my German immigrant Grandfather, who wore a gray suit and tie every day of his 96 years, even for a day in the country to visit us!

Nice piece of history, Debbie. The times have really changed since then as far as dressing up and down goes. Love those high-toppers too. #32112

Thanks Murry. This was shot just a few years ago, but for this gentleman it could have been the turn-of-the-other-century! :) #87293

Wow. This piece.. it just makes you stop and be quiet.. while looking and imagining the person and how he might've been. :-) Nice touch including only parts of the other faces, keeps you from focusing away from the subject.

I'll be sure to keep my eye out for more from you!

Cheers! #202286
