Leaning into 100 degree shade

Uploaded: July 26, 2005

Description

F/5
1/125 sec
Sigma 75mm-300mm lens at 150mm
Late afternoon open shade
Selected this vertical isolation shot for the soft background and crisp subject against the vertical line of the tree. I particularly like the highlight the sun placed on her hair on her right side.

Very nice portrait. The young lady should like this for a wall hanger.

This portrait is perfect! The little bit of highlight on her hair is wonderful, gives nice separation. The dof is perfect, and it's very sharp where it should be! Nice work! Great colors too!

Thanks for the wonderful responses to this portrait. The model just made it easy! (Poor girl is terribly shy about having her portrait out here in public. Good thing it's my best friend!) #2330667
