Thank you so much Pat & Graham! I have an affinity for Galahs, they are such comical birds! Nice work with that big lens, the color and detail are fantastic!

When we visited Musselbrook almost 30 years ago, we were told that these beauties were PESTS! I was incredulous! #8800637

Great close up this little beauty. We saw a lot up north on our recent holiday=^..^= (Michelle, I'd say they are concidered pests out Muswellbrook way, most farmers don't like native aniamls over here!!!) #8806662

The Aussie Galah (variously referred to as Cacatua roseicapilla AND Eolophus roseicapilla!) is a most distinctive bird of the cockatoo family, isn't it, Pat?!! :o)

Your capture here of this bird gathering grass seeds, or maybe water, is a really lovely scene!! Often, of a fine afternoon, a number of Galahs will forage on the open back lawn of our neighbour's yard!! It's great to see!! :o) #8811888
