Mt Shast Bloom

Description

A beautiful evening at the base of Mt Shasta. I found this scene after checking out some of the more iconic spots and noticed I needed to find something a little different to change things up a bit from the ordinary. Don't get me wrong icons are nice, surely wouldn't throw them out of the portfolio. I explored much of the area on all sides of Shasta looking for new views, it was a busy and very productive trip with little sleep. I have lots more coming!

Nailed that one Steven! The light on Shasta is outrageous. Did you post the in ESS on NPN too? The gang would really like it. Looking forward to the rest! #8825819

Love the way you minimized the snow capped peak to draw attention to the foreground. Shasta is always beautiful. This is spectacular! #8826402

Thanks all,

Paul, I did and they loved it. Of course they wanted me to change many things about it but I left it the way I wanted it to look. #8828727

"Of course they wanted me to change many things about it"

LOL! Always. "I have one nit, the bush in the LLC is 3.79 inches too tall..."

Seriously, I've learned MUCH from the honesty though.

Anyway, great shot, I have a Finalist this month too, but it's not as good as this. If I show yours to my wife she'll probably want a print, lol. #8829658
